Pressure Class Reader
Drawings arrive in bar, in psi and in megapascals, and the number on a test point is not always the number the circuit sees. Convert your figure, place it against the class we build, and see what headroom is left before you commit the specification.
Unit on the drawing
Enter a figure and choose its unit.
Model assumptions, stated so you can argue with them: conversion uses 1 bar as 14.5038 psi and 1 MPa as 10 bar; the class shown is the 630 bar maximum working pressure we build our DN4 assemblies to, so headroom is that figure minus your working pressure; the safety ratio shown is whatever burst figure you enter divided by your working pressure, which is your specification’s ratio and not a rating of ours. A bore designation such as DN4 carries no pressure rating with it, so a number has to come from the assembly, never from the size.
