Temperature Derating Calculator
A pressure rating printed on a test hose is a rating at 50 °C. Enter the fluid temperature you actually measure at and read what is left of it.
| Fluid temperature | Utilisation factor | 400 bar type | 630 bar type |
|---|
Model: the utilisation-factor series is read as a piecewise-linear curve between the listed temperatures, applied to the pressure printed on the hose. The 120 °C row is a short-time excursion, not a continuous duty point. Derating describes the hose; the rating that governs the finished line is the lowest of hose and fitting, so confirm the assembly figure against the construction you are buying.
